Thinking of enrolling your child in 2027?
If your child turns four before 30 April 2027, they are eligible for enrolment in Preschool for the 2027 school year.
Southern Cross Early Childhood School is holding information tours for new families to enable you to see our lovely learning environment and to give you a chance to ask any questions you may have about enrolling at Southern Cross Early Childhood School.
- Thursday 26 March, 3.30-4.15pm
- Tuesday 31 March, 9.30-10.15am
- Monday 11 May 10.00-10.45am
- Thursday 14 May, 3.30-4.15pm

2025 WAKAKIRRI Wonders

Southern Cross Early Childhood School participated in Wakakirri - National Story-Dance festival earlier this year. After performing our show 'Walking on a Dream' at The Canberra Theatre Centre we were invited back as State finalists to perform again! This time winning the 'Environment Award' for our message of needing to care for the land we walk on. We were to youngest group of children to perform and the educators at Southern Cross are extremely proud of our accomplishment.

- Thursday 1 May, 3.30-4.15pm
- Friday 9 May, 10.00-10.45am
- ADDITIONAL TOUR ADDED - Friday 23 May, 10.00-10.45am

Official Opening of the new Rope Climbing Structure

On Wednesday 12 February 2025 the newest addition to our Outdoor Learning Environment was officially opened for use. The kindergarten to year 2 children have been extending their climbing skills and risk taking ability at the yet to be named rope climbing structure.
